CoSpace was founded in 2017 to address a very specific need: help business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs work, network and collaborate in a peaceful, serene and productive environment.
How It Started?
CoSpace is a pioneer in offering shared office and work spaces in Karachi. CoSpace was formed to help budding entrepreneurs, start-ups and tech companies to find an office space without having to pay heavy advance rents and security deposits on top of financial investment for office equipment.
An office space where they could just walk-in and start using the space within minutes.
Our Founders
Omar Alee and Dr. Nousheen Zakaria, our founders, moved from the U.K in the year 2014 to start their own software house in Karachi. While looking out for their own office space they found that an affordable and clean office space was really difficult to find in a cosmopolitan city like Karachi. The ones that they found were either too far away or highly expensive. Renting out an office space also meant paying a hefty security deposit and advance rent.
Therefore, once they established their own IT business office space, they felt the need to open flexible and affordable coworking space for other tech startups and tech entrepreneurs to encourage and promote SME culture in Pakistan.
Anum Ozair (Chief Operations Officer)
Anum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media Sciences from Iqra University and is currently pursuing her Masters in Media Sciences there. She has extensive experience in operations, human resources, and graphic design. Anum has served as the Chief Operations Officer at CoSpace Pakistan and has been with the company for 6 years.
As a dedicated professional, Anum plays a crucial role in the company’s strategic planning process, ensuring adherence to proper operational and financial procedures. She actively participates in business expansion endeavours and closely collaborates with the marketing, creative, and customer experience teams to craft high-quality, engaging, relevant, and timely content.
Fayyaz Khan (Community Manager)
Fayyaz Khan is the Community Manager at CoSpace Pakistan in Karachi. He has over 8 years of experience, a Diploma in Graphic Designing from Arena Multimedia Defence Karachi and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Karachi.
With his dynamic personality and excellent communication skills, Fayyaz is committed to building relationships with customers, industry professionals, and colleagues in his role as Community Manager. He is always looking for ways to improve efficiency and ensure that members have access to the best services and are fully satisfied.
